Meeting with the GM (Pers) at BSNL Corporate Office New Delhi

BSNL C.O. New Delhi Conducted a meeting with the representatives of SEWA BSNL at BSB 5th floor Committee meeting Hall on 11-06-2015 to discuss and resolve on various issues . From management side, GM (Pers), DGM (Pers), CLO (SCT) and AGM (SCT) Participated. As per the letter issued by CLO (SCT) vide ltr no : 65-3/2015-sct dtd 21-05-2015, three persons from each group Participated. From our side , National President Shri P N Perumal, General Secretary Shri N D Ram and Hon'ly CHQ Advisor Shri T Muthukrishnan participated in the meeting. Shri B Hanumanth Rao Dy GS , Shri R K Gautam OS (S), Shri Charan Singh AGS(C), Shri Siddha Ganesh AGS (W), Shri Ashok Patel OS (W), Shri Jaipal Singh AFS, Shri Chander Panchore CHQ member, Shri Balkishan CHQ member, Shri Kishorilal circle President Delhi, Shri Satyaveer Singh Circle Secretary Delhi and other SEWA members from Haryana, ALTTC Ghaziabad, NTP and BSNL C.O. New Delhi were also Present, Assembled out side meeting Hall and showed their solidarity to fight till Approval of CHQ GOV. Body unanimously elected at Sholapur.

From our side we explained to GM (Pers) to approve elected body on the basis merits. But from raveendran side they were adamant and insisted for one more fresh election for which GM ( Pers ) Questioned raveendran on his failure to Submission of AUDITED ACCOUNTS OF SEWA BSNL CHQ for his two years tenure 2012 -2014 and submission of Paid Members list and paid Executives (officers ) list . He strongly objected and Queried about the status of Executives and pointed out that there is no any official membership records available with Bsnl for officers. So as on date only Gr-C & D subscription paid employees alone Can be a legitimate members of sewabsnl and they only eligible for selection of Delegates, Contesting and Voting.

Suggestion / Conditions Placed by BSNL Management for conducting fresh election :

1) BSNL C.O. New Delhi Spending above 10 cores for SEWA BSNL every year for facilities etc. In this juncture, fresh election cannot be conducted with lot of irregularities in Assoociation activities

2) with regard to fresh election, as on date, only Gr-C & D employees alone Can be eligible because of subscription deduction. BSNL deducting subscription from the salary of C & D employees only and having pucca records.

3) Statement of AUDITED ACCOUNTS should be submitted to the BSNL by Raveendran well in advance ie. before December 2015. If not Audited accounts submitted before December 2015, fresh election cannot be considered.

4) With regard to Executives (officers ) membership a crystal clear Amendment should be incorporated in the Bye-law of SEWA BSNL and Intimated to BSNL.

5) Executives (officers ) Paid membership list of each SSA, Circle and All India should be submitted to BSNL C.O New Delhi well in advance ie before December 2015 with all relevant records for eligibility criteria.

6) Eligible Delegates list as per paid membership should be submitted before 45 days prior to election to the BSNL C.O New Delhi for its verification of accuracy.

7) After scrutinize the genuineness of Delegates list BSNL Management will appoint R.O and O.O etc.

From SEWA BSNL side , We Strongly Opposed the management proposal regarding Executives issue and One and Half months for Delegates list. It is submitted by us that due to wrong methodology of Bsnl management , still we are unable to deduct subscription of Executives from their salary. So management only responsible for this problem. As for as sewabsnl concerned, from Gr - D employees to Gr- A officers all are equal and all can enrol as members in sewabsnl. We further opposed that One and Half months for submission of Delegates list is practically not possible.

Finally, GM (pers ) requested representatives of both side to Co opera rate with the management in the larger interest of SC/ST employees and fulfil all formalities and Conditions laid down by BSNL C.O New Delhi for conduct of fresh election.

If both side agreed, BSNL Management will constitute a Body / Committee till December 2015 or AIC/GBM over. But again from our side we explained every thing about our genuine and legitimate demand for approval of CHQ Gover. Body elected at Sholapur.

Our side not given any consent, informed to meet the management again or to intimate our decision after 15 days on hearing views from SSA ,Circle and CHQ level office Bearers , Senior Leaders and Hon'ly CHQ Advisors.
